Unique experience in Lima: dinner in the sky!
With an investment of US $ 1.5 million, today the exclusive “Dinner In the Sky” will start to operate in Peru! This is the time a restaurant in Peru to offer its services on a platform in the air. The platform is located in Mamacona, district of Lurín (Lima), will be inaugurated on January 25th.
The experience of dining 45 meters high an elevated outdoor platform, arrived in Peru thanks to the initiative of businessman Edgard Reaño and the Belgian franchise “Dinner in the Sky”, present in 70 countries of the world, including Brazil and Mexico.
This novel proposal has had a great reception so far, even before its opening. To date, there are already two hundred 200 confirmed reservations. The owners do not rule out opening other restaurants of this type in cities such as Cusco.
“Dinner in The Sky Peru” is aimed at young people in the tourism sector who want to enjoy this new experience. Compared to other countries, the cost is relatively low: USD 100 (breakfast) or USD 140 (for lunch or dinner). In other countries, the prices range from 300 to 800 euros.
The restaurant will operate from Wednesday to Sunday, in four shifts: at 10 a.m. (breakfast). 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (lunch) and finally at 6 p.m., with the sunset, dinner.
The Mesa Platform “, Dinner in The Sky Peru,” has a capacity for 22 guests, a head chef and two assistants, as well as a security assistant. “It is an innovative product, totally safe and with an insurance policy of US $ 100 thousand per passenger,” said Edgard Reaño, CEO of the company.
The platform rises to 45 meters and, at the top, the chef will explain to the guests everything related to the gastronomic offer of the restaurant, as well as the landscape around it and the nearby cultural attractions, such as the Historic Sanctuary of Pachacámac, the new Museum of Archeology and the Paso de Mamacona Horses.
“Lurin was chosen because it is the most attractive tourist place in Lima and also because of the few winds that blow here,” Reaño said at a press conference.
