Two Peruvian Hotels Rated Among Best Worldwide
Condé Nast Traveler, The world-renowned lifestyle travel magazine has released its rankings of the top hotels in the world, placing two from Peru among the top thirty.
The list was compiled from the submission of more than 300,000 votes from readers in the Readers’ Choice Awards survey as well as from over 100,000 comments regarding recent travel experiences in hotels, resorts, cruises, airlines, and airports.
The two hotels listed, Inkaterra La Casona and Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, came in at number 14 and 15, respectively. Both hotels are in the Southern Cusco region, and many travelers stay at the luxury hotels during their time in Peru while visiting the Inca ruins, including Machu Picchu.
“Condé Nast Traveler readers honor us,” said Jose Koechlin, Inkaterra Founder, and CEO.
Not to be outdone, several other hotels around Cusco made the Top Hotels in South America list, including one in the Sacred Valley and one in the Peruvian Amazon.
