Peru´s Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry has declared that over 40 Peruvian restaurants are flourishing throughout Brazil.
Most of these establishments are under franchise agreements. The leader of Peru´s Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry, Eduardo Ferreyros, asserted that South America is a powerhouse for food franchises.
The Peruvian restaurants are scattered across Brazil in numerous major and smaller cities. Brazil is a prime location for franchises, as it contains such a large amount of consumers.
Restaurants aim to serve typical Peruvian food, such as ceviche, lomo saltado, and many potato dishes.
The Peruvian government seeks to promote the continued expansion of businesses on an international level, specifically in the food industry.
