Largely due to the implementation of the Olmos Irrigation project, Peruvian products such as sweet white onions and paprika peppers are now being sent to US and Spanish markets.

Grown at the Pampa Baja Farm, where an average 3,150 tons of onions and paprikas are harvested, these products are later shipped abroad from Northern Peru’s Piura region’s Paita port.

The Pampa Baja company started agricultural operations in Arequipa valleys, where it hosts 300,000 developing hectares of crops as well as one of the country’s largest and most modern farms.
