Low-cost airline, Viva Air Peru, is set to begin in operations in Peru on May 9th. Viva Air will be the country´s first airline that caters to budget travelers.
The airline will initially begin operations in the cities of Lima, Tarapoto, Piura, Iquitos, Chiclayo, and Trujillo, using Airbus A320 planes and flying 11 different domestic routes.
Most importantly, the cost of a ticket will only be S/60.
Viva Peru´s CEO Jose Castellano is looking forward to the access his airline will bring to people, stating, “we want people to travel more, to go more places, to visit more relatives in different areas.”
