Bruno Mars Plays ‘Concert of the Year’ in Lima
Peru was a witness last week of the so-called ‘concert of the year’. Bruno Mars seized the National Stadium and with his ‘magic of 24 carats,’ he left more than satisfied his more than 40 thousand fans who filled the sports arena.
Around 9:55 at night, Bruno Mars jumped onto the striking stage. As in his previous shows, ‘Finesse’ was the opening song of his delirious and unstoppable musical journey in Peru.
The impressive display of strobe lights, pyrotechnics and giant, LED screens made the show that much more exciting and added to the already impressive dance routines and music.
One hour and 15 minutes of uninterrupted show was enough for the fervent ‘hooligans’ (as fans of Bruno Mars and his band are called) as they shook and even cried with emotion during his first live performance.
The Bruno Mars show in Peru ended with the worldwide hit ‘Uptown Funk’. Despite the short duration of the show and the absence of some of their hits such as ‘Grenade’ and ‘Gorilla’, fans came away satisfied with the performance that Bruno Mars put together in the capital city.
