More than 400 Peruvian Products presented at World Cup in Russia
PromPeru, Peru’s Exports, and Tourism Promotion Board, will present over 400 Peruvian products in Moscow during the World Cup in order to promote Peru’s exportable products in Russia.
According to Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Rogers Valencia, the Casa Peru, the Peru House, might be visited by 150,000 people from all over the world during the World Cup. Casa Peru will be situated near the main square. Peruvian products will be exhibited and product tastings will be offered.
As the majority of Russian travellers live in Moscow, more than 100 million people will get an idea what Peru has to offer. In total, US$ 6.114 million will be invested in the campaign to show Peru’s diversity and to promote especially the Amazonian and Andean region.
Apart from art exhibitions, visitors can also enjoy Peruvian dance and music lessons in Casa Peru. Victor Gutierrez, Jorge Muñoz, and Robert Ortiz will present the Peruvian cuisine in Moscow.
A trailer of Casa Peru will visit the first Russian cities where Peru’s soccer team will play the first three matches. From June 18 to June 28, Casa Peru will be opened at the Maege Exhibition Center, close to the Red Square of Moscow.
