Moon Valley: Why Go
The Moon Valley Half-day excursion takes you south of La Paz and into a valley of bizarre landscapes. The Moon Valley is full of strange rock formations and allows us epic views of the mountains that surround the city. In this extraordinary place, we find thousands of rocks and crater-like formations that have formed over millions of years through erosion and weather changes. Heavy rains and temperature fluctuations have lead to the erosion of the clay soil in the valley and created these interesting "moon-like" structures.
In this excursion, your guide provides some expert interpretation, you will have some free time to take pictures and explore the area.
