Itinerary

• Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta - Ecological Jungle Trips

• Pick up from hotel or the airport in Iquitos in the morning and transfer to a town called Nauta with our private car. The ride lasts for about 2 hours. After arrival in Nauta, we will go on the boats that will take us to our lodge, which is about 2.5 hour upstream the Maranon, Amazon, Ucayali and Yarapa rivers. After that, we will discover the flora and fauna in the primary forest for approximately two hours. After having lunch, we will visit a typical Amazon village and go by boat on the Ucayali river to watch dolphins. After dinner, we will do canoe trip to spot different nocturnal animals. We will spend the night in the Lodge.

• Day 2: Ecological Jungle Trips - Lodge and excursions

• On the second day, we will start with a hike through the jungle to see a variety of monkeys, insects, spiders, in their natural habitat. After the breakfast, we will do a tour over the Yarapa river by motor boat to fish Piranha and watch Amazon birds. After lunch, we will do another hike through the jungle where the guide will explain us about medicinal plants and also teach us about the art of survival using the elements of the Amazon jungle. In the evening, we will have dinner and will do another hike to explore different kinds of insects and frogs. We will spend the night again in a lodge.

• Day 3: Ecological Jungle Trips, Excursions on the Yarapa river

• In the early morning, we will start with a tour to through the rainforest to see various kinds of animals. After breakfast, we will start to fish for piranhas and other kinds of Amazon fishes such as catfish and sardines in the lagoon near to the lodge. After having lunch at the lodge, there is an opportunity to swim in the Yarapa river and to see grey and pink dolphins. We will do a canoe tour which shows you the largest biodiversity in the Amazon. In the evening, we will have dinner and take some rest.

• Day 4: Ecological Jungle Trips - Night of Camping

• After the breakfast, we set out to the campsite. On the way, where can see a variety of flora and fauna and also the famous sloth in his natural habitat. Later, we will take the boat for 2.5 hours over Yarapa river deeper into the jungle and arrive at the campsite. In the afternoon, we will go for an excursion to see insects, palm trees, the famous rubber tree and much more. After arriving at the campsite, we will do a trip to watch alligators, snakes, snakes, frogs, insects and monkeys. Later we learn about fishing with typical jungle arrows before we spend the night under the stars in our tents.

• Day 5: Ecological Jungle Trips - Nauta - Iquitos

• After having breakfast at the campsite, we will return to the lodge while passing by small lakes and rivers of the Amazon rainforest. We will have lunch at the lodge and return to the town of Nauta, to continue the journey to the city of Iquitos in a private car. Once arrived in Iquitos, we will end our 5-day tour.
