You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Iquitos, and we will drive to the spot where we will take a boat over the Nanay and Amazon rivers. On our way, we will see various flora and fauna of the Amazon jungle. Later, there is an opportunity to spot different animals such as turtles, lizards, and piranhas. After the lunch, we will do a hike through the jungle. During the hike, we will visit a local tribe while learning about their way of life in the jungle. After dinner, we will do another excursion to observe different insects, tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, and monkeys, before we have dinner and get some good rest in our jungle lodge.
On the second day, we will wake up early to see the sunrise and will have breakfast at our Amazon lodge. After that, we will take the boat to look for various kinds of dolphins on the Nanay, Amazon and Itaya river. We continue our journey after the lunch, when we take the boat to fish for piranhas.
