Santa Cruz Trek 4D/3N

Itinerary

• Day 1: Huaraz - Cashapampa - Llamacorral

• Transfer with private transport in the morning from Huaraz to Cashapampa (2900 m). Here we will start with our 4/5 hours walk towards the camp site at Llamacorral which lays on 3750 meters.

• Day 2: Llamacorral - Taullipampa

• This day we start walking very early. During the walk, we can enjoy the lagoons Ichicocha and Jatuncocha and the snow-capped Caraz, Quitaraju, Artesonraju, Alpamayo. We will arrive in the late afternoon at our campsite in Taullipampa (4250m).

• Day 03: Taullipampa - Punta Union - Cachinapampa

• The third day will be the most difficult day since the walk is going up-hill until the Punta Unión pass at 4750 meters. From here we will have a beautiful view of the snowy mountains: Quitaraju, Taulliraju, Artesonraju, Huascarán and Contrahierbas. Later we will continue to our campsite at Cachinapampa (3750m).

• Day 04: Cachinapampa - Vaquería - Huaraz

• This last day we will have a short 2/3 hour walk to Vaquería where our bus will bring us back to Huaraz.
