Huchuy Qosqo Trail to Machu Picchu: Why Go
This trek visits the ruins of Huchuy Q'osqo (small Cusco), situated in the Sacred Valley near to Urubamba. It is known as small Cusco because it is said to mimic the exact shape of Cusco but on a much smaller scale.On this trek, you will see evidence of the rich culture left behind by the Incas in the ruins and villages that we visit along the way. Despite this, surprisingly few tourists do this hike.
We also visit the world famous lost city of the Incas - Machu Picchu. These ruins are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world.
