This is a great tour for those who love the outdoors and doing something adventurous. The horseback riding tours are combined with visiting important archaeological sites close to Cusco. We offer two different tours: Route 1 visits the well-known archaeological sites near Cusco, while Route 2 leads a little further from the beaten track including some unique archaeological sites which are not frequently visited. This is a nice half day tour beginning in Sacsayhuamán and continuing to the ruins of Tambo Machay, Puka Pucara, and Qenqo. The mountains around Cusco are beautiful and even better on horseback!
This tour gives you the chance to explore the beautiful countryside a little further from Cusco. You will explore Cusilluchayoq (known as "Sacsayhuamansito" or "Little Sacsayhuaman" because of the similar architecture), Quillahuan, Laguna de Inkatambo and "Temple of the Moon" - one of the most mystical places in Cusco.
