Travellers to Peru and especially, visitors to the city of Cusco (Peru), should keep in mind that many sights can only be visited with a “Boleto Turistico”. This is a tourist ticket, an entrance fee ticket to several sites in and around Cusco.

Therefore, it’s really a a must-have for those who want to explore the beautiful city of Cusco and it’s surroundings. When you book a tour (for example a Cusco City Tour or the Sacred Valley Tour, the Boleto Turistico will normally NOT be included in the price of the tour.

For more information about this ticket, the table below shows the current prices (Updated: October 2016) and locations and tourist highlights of Cusco that are included in the various tickets or ‘boletos’.

For many travelers in Peru, Cusco, the old Inca Town, is a highlight of their trips.

Cusco is a unique destination, one of the travelers hubs from South America yet still authentic and picturesque. Here at Dos Manos we are proud to be operating from ‘the navel of the world’, from our offices with a great view over the city of Cusco.

You know you are in Cusco when…

  1. …you see gringos walking around in Alpaca sweaters, hats and gloves.
    Yes, Cusco can be a bit chilly at times. You will definitely need some warm clothes. No problem if you forgot to bring some from home, you can buy plenty in Cusco! There are many shops that sell real or fake Alpaca items. Don’t worry that you might look a bit silly. Most backpackers here go crazy on the affordable sweaters, hats and gloves.
