4 Things I did NOT like about the Salkantay Trek Machu Picchu

The Inca Trail to the old Inca Citadel Machu Picchu is by far, one of the most favorite treks of the content. Unfortunately, only 500 people are allowed per day, including guides, cooks, and porters. This means that the popular trek in Peru gets sold out very quickly. If you want to do the Inca Trail in high season, you might have to book it 3 or even 4 months ahead!

Fortunately, there are many other Machu Pichu Hike tours! So don’t worry when the Inca Trail is already sold out. There are many other opportunities to do a Machu Picchu hiking to the famous ruins. This is actually what happened to me and that’s why I booked the Salkantay Trek. (more…)
