Inca Trail Offers New 360° Machu Picchu Train From Cusco To Ollantaytambo
Inca Rail, a Peruvian railroad company, adds a new 360° Machu Picchu Train to its assortment, running between Cusco and Ollantaytambo.
With the observatory car, bar and on-board entertainment in various languages, Inca Rail want to offer a new service for tourists that want to visit Machu Picchu. Providing panoramic views of the beautiful landscape, the train allows travelers to enjoy the nature of the Sacred Valley.
Tourists aiming at traveling through the Sacred Valley in a luxurious way while also learning something about the Inca culture are the target group of Inca Rail. In matters of luxury, the seats are made of leather, and the windows have UV protection. Compared to other trains, the windows are also wider.
The 360° Machu Picchu Train will also provide gourmet food, being made of products from the region. Inca Rail will also offer different hot and cold drinks, like drinks made with Andean herbs and fruit juices.
According to Armando Pareja, General Manager of Inca Rail, the company wants to transport 630,000 tourists with the 360° Machu Picchu Train in 2018.
In Ollantaytambo, you can also take different categories of the train to Machu Picchu.
