Hot springs: Baños del Inca

Description

Hot springs: Baos del Inca

This tour leads us into the Baños del Inca district of Cajamarca. The city of Cajamarca marks an important turning point for the Inca civilisation: it was here that the Incan emperor Atahualpa was captured and murdered. In this tour, we visit the famous hot tubs with water from natural springs. According to the legend, the Inca Atahualpa used to come here to take baths before his military disputes. The hot springs that feed the tubs of Baños del Inca are said to have plenty of medicinal benefits for mind and body.
