Description

Ballestas Island

Despite the barren landscapes of this area of Peru, the coast of the Paracas Peninsula and the nearby Ballestas Islands are havens for marine life. The Ballestas Islands are alive with noisy colonies of sea lions and huge numbers of birds that are sustained by the food-rich waters of this stretch of the Pacific.

If you are arriving by bus on the morning of the tour, we will pick you up from the bus station on your arrival and take you to our partner travel agency in Paracas to await the tour.  Alternatively if you are staying in a hotel, you will be picked up from your accommodation at approximately 8am and taken to the port in Paracas.
